LANCET captures the action of massive star formation in a 14-parsec filament G316.8

This Youth Forum talk presented the G316.8 filament as a controlled laboratory for massive-star and cluster formation. The LANCET observations connect three adjacent regions spanning an evolutionary sequence and trace their dense cores, gas kinematics, and magnetic-field structure from cloud to cluster scales.
